It will be here any day now, “Cheyenne Garden Gossip; Locals Share Secrets for High Plains Gardening Success.”
This is a well-illustrated compilation of my garden columns for the Wyoming Tribune Eagle since 2012. It includes seed starting, vegetables, flowers, landscaping, winter interest and even houseplant basics.
About 120 people contributed to the book as interviewees, content editors or photographers. Shane Smith, founder and retired director of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, wrote the foreword.
Sometime in July the 325-page book will be available at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens gift shop for $24.90. I’ll have updates on other retailers, online availability, book signings, etc.
You can meet me Sunday, July 11, 1-4 p.m. at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Habitat Hero Demonstration Garden. It can be your first stop of five stops on the free Laramie County Master Gardener Garden Walk. Read about it at https://cheyennegardengossip.wordpress.com/2021/06/27/habitat-hero-garden-walk-july-11-2021/.
