When Cheyenne Regional Medical Center remodeled their main building  a few years ago, they moved the Pink Boutique gift shop into a really nice location. It is managed by Arlene Flood, someone I know through the quilt guild. It’s a wonderful place for staff, visitors and patients to pick up something pretty and cheering, like flowers and gifts (along with chocolate and other candy). And now you can find “Cheyenne Birds by the Month” there.

At our last book signing, I heard people say that “Cheyenne Birds” was a book they shared with a bed-ridden friend or relative. Each page is a short bird story that can be read independently of the others. Or one can just enjoy the photos.

If you decide to visit and are lucky, you can find one of the 30-minute parking spaces out front of the main entrance, otherwise you may have to spiral up through the parking garage like you do for appointments in the adjoining medical building. Look for the doorway to the boutique right on the lobby.
